How to get from the airport

1. Come out of the car park, turn left, and follow directions to Palma on the Ma19

2. Drive for 4.2 km on the motorway and take exit 3 signposted to Andratx/Port d'Alcúdia. This takes you on to the Via Cintura (the Ring Road) going North of Palma. You'll pass Ikea a big blue building on your right hand side. Stay on this road for 10.8 km

3. Take exit 11A to merge onto Ma-1 toward Palmanova/Andratx and drive for 20.6 km. The motorway ends just past Palma Nova

4. Be careful on this road after Megaluf but before Paguera; you will need to be in left hand lane at one stage which will keep you on the correct road to Andratx The right hand lane will filter you off into Paguera.

5. As Andratx comes into sight, filter to the right and follow signs to PUERTO Andratx. If you miss the turn off continue to follow Ma-1 which will take you into the Pueblo and a roundabout where you take the second exit to the left

6. After 4.5 km as you come into the built up area of the Puerto turn right at a small roundabout into the one way system, take the 1st exit right over a small bridge onto Camí Vell de Cala Llamp/Ma-1 following signs to Club de Vela

7. Follow the road until you come to the Club de Vela on your left and immediately after the small turning to the left with a sign to Restaurant Bar La Venta which will take you round to the front of the house.

8. If this is your first time arriving at the cottage, park outside the Club de Vela, leave your luggage in the car and walk around to the front of the cottage as the road is very narrow. Sometimes this road is blocked by deliveries to the restaurant.
